Chicago, IL – January 27, 2015—ShowingTime, the real estate industry's leading showing management technology provider with 1.2 million active listings subscribed to its services, announced today that eight MLSs with more than 28,000 subscribers signed MLS-wide licensing agreements to provide those subscribers with ShowingTime's appointment scheduling and feedback systems.
The customers include Greater Fairfield County CMLS; Greater Alabama MLS; Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors®; Greater Lansing Association of Realtors®; Pinehurst-Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors®; Terre Haute Area Association of Realtors®; and Piedmont Regional Association of Realtors®. Northeast Florida MLS/RealtyWEB.Net, an existing ShowingTime customer, upgraded its service contract to add mobile functionality.
"Adding enhanced mobile functionality is a big win for our subscribers," said Ron Stephan, Chief Executive Officer of the Northeast Florida MLS/RealtyWEB.Net. "Since they spend so much time working and communicating with their buyers, sellers and peers in the field, we're always looking to provide members with high quality, time-saving mobile solutions."
ShowingTime for the MLS – licensed by 80 MLSs – uses patented technology to streamline the appointment scheduling process, resulting in quicker showing confirmations and less phone tag. Listing agents can post showing instructions and enter available hours on an interactive calendar to indicate when a listing can be shown. When a showing agent submits a request, notifications are sent instantly. All the real estate industry's primary MLS vendors have incorporated ShowingTime into their MLS systems for clients.
The ShowingTime Appointment Center – which integrates with ShowingTime for the MLS – is the only service in the real estate industry staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with dedicated appointment specialists who fully confirm showings on behalf of listing agents and offices. Listing agents never worry about missing showing requests, while showing agents appreciate how quickly appointment specialists confirm appointments.
Both services enable subscribers to also use the ShowingTime Mobile App to schedule showings, review existing appointments, get push notifications, access driving directions and/or view showing instructions, all while in the field. As a result, no showing request is ever missed.
"We are very pleased these MLSs and Associations selected ShowingTime to equip their subscribers with the latest technology for scheduling showings and getting feedback," said ShowingTime President Michael Lane. "We're able to add measurable efficiencies to the appointment scheduling process. Subscribers save time by using our Mobile App, ShowingCart, mapping and more to confirm, decline or reschedule appointments from wherever they are," he added.
Hundreds of offices in these markets also use ShowingDesk, ShowingTime's web-enabled front desk software. Showing requests made via the MLS download into a "Task List" to facilitate prompt follow-up by office staff. ShowingDesk is the industry's most popular front desk software for managing showings.
ShowingTime equips MLSs, Associations, offices, brokers and agents with tools to schedule showings, generate feedback and report on activity. Its products are used by more than 53,000 offices nationwide and integrated with 200+ MLSs to manage 3 million showings every month. Visit http://www.showingtime.com for more information.
